Privacy policy

The data controller is the Agence Béninoise pour le Développement du Tourisme (Bénin Tourisme), Immeuble Sainte Cécile, Rue Sylvère Alexandre R.7.15, Parcelle D, Lot 163, Quartier Gbèdomidji, Cotonou, Bénin.

Processing complies with the digital code of the Republic of Benin (book five, protection of personal data).

We only collect what is needed to process your order:

• identity and contact details: first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number;
• order content: tickets, passes, products, visit dates, pickup point, amounts;
• payment: the Mobile Money phone number used and the payment status. Bank card data is entered with the payment provider and never goes through our servers;
• technical data: IP address and connection logs, used for security and fraud prevention.

We do not collect any sensitive data (health, opinions, community membership).

• to carry out your order: booking, payment, issuing and sending tickets, receipt and invoice;
• to answer you when you contact us about an order;
• to keep the service secure and prevent fraud;
• to meet our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax.

The legal basis is the performance of your order, our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in securing the service. Your data is not sold or handed over to third parties for commercial purposes.

• authorised staff of the publisher and of the bodies that run the sites you book, to check your ticket at the entrance;
• the payment provider, to process your payment;
• technical providers for hosting and e-mail delivery, acting on our behalf.

Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle the order, then for the time required by legal obligations (accounting, tax, disputes). It is then deleted or anonymised.

The site uses no audience measurement tool, no advertising and no tracking cookie. Only items strictly necessary for it to work are stored, which does not require your consent:

• your cart, kept in your browser’s local storage until the order is paid;
• an order access cookie, unreadable by the page’s JavaScript, kept for 30 days so you can find your tickets again;
• your language, remembered in a preference cookie;
• the phone number you typed at checkout, kept for the session to prefill the payment.

You can clear these items at any time from your browser settings.

Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to an order requires the personal link received by e-mail: keep it and do not share it. Internal access to data is limited to people who need it.

• rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
• erasure: ask for your data to be deleted in the cases provided by law;
• restriction: ask to suspend processing in certain cases;
• portability: get your data in a common format;
• objection: object to processing, in particular to direct marketing.
